Nexium 24HR 24 is a 24hr Heartburn Relief Product for the Treatment of Acid Reflux, Gastric Acid Deficiency and Post Acute Gastric Hypertension
Take 1 Nexium 24HR tablet by mouth with or without food. If taken 4 hours apart.
Swallow Nexium 24HR 24HR with a glass of water, with or without food. If you are taking it with food, it works best if you take it with food.
To reduce stomach upset, take it approximately 4 hours before the next dose. If you miss it, take it as soon as possible. If it’s still not there even if symptoms appear, skip the dose and skip the entire dose.
Always read the package instructions and the product packaging for safe usage. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Each Nexium 24HR Capsule contains 20 mg esomeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor). Always follow the manufacturer’s product information and the manufacturer’s directions.

Nexium works by stopping the production of acid in the stomach. If you are taking Nexium for acid reflux, your doctor may prescribe a lower dose of this medication called a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). Nexium works for more than 7 days and reduces your symptoms for up to 24 hours after taking it.
Take as directed by your doctor or your pharmacist. The dose may need to be changed when needed. If you miss a dose of Nexium (Esomeprazole) take it as soon as you can, then move on to the next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Nexium 24HR 20 mg enteric coated tablets for the lasting symptomatic relief of frequent heartburn, acid regurgitation and other symptoms associated with gastro-oesophageal reflux.
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the Consumer Medicine Information leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR. If symptoms persist or recur within 2 weeks of completing the course, consult your doctor. Further examination may be required.
Always read the label, use only as directed. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you notice any of the following and they worry you: nausea or vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, headache, wind, stomach pain, skin rash, itchy skin, dizziness or dry mouth. These side effects are usually mild. However, these side effects are usually mild. If symptoms persist or recur, stop taking Nexium 24HR,\ and stop taking acid reducer for a few days after completing the course. Stop taking acid reducer and speak to your doctor.

Do not take more tablets in a 24 hour period than every 4 hours. Keep this medicine for at least 3 days. Do not take for longer than 4 days without review.
